The ‘CASH Summer Music Project 2010 Symposium’ was successfully held at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Morrison Hill) on 12 June 2010. The event was organised by CASH, co-organised by HKDI and supported by RTHK 2. CASH has invited several guests from the pop music scene including singer-songwriters Chita Yu, Sherman Chung and Endy Chow, songwriters Harry Ng, Clayton Cheung and Jessie, and Chan Fai Hung, CEO of Gold Typhoon Entertainment Limited (Hong Kong). They have attended and shared their precious views with the participants.

The symposium has attracted a group of young music-lovers. All guests have expressed their opinions towards various topics related to the local music scene such as lyrics, K-songs (popular karaoke songs), live performance, production team and production cost etc. Also the participants have completed a questionnaire with questions about their habits of listening to music. Throughout the interactive discussion, the symposium has delivered and promoted the message of treasuring and giving value to music.
