Types of Royalties
Royalties (local and overseas) can be classified into three groups:
- Performing Royalties: royalties received from broadcasters, concerts, retail shops, and many more
- Mechanical Royalties: royalties received from record companies and karaoke servers
- Digital Online Royalties: royalties received from digital service providers (music download and music streaming)
Royalty Distribution Statistics
Royalty distribution will be based on the public performance data received from CASH licensees and notifications from CASH members. The royalties are generated from music licence fees after deduction of administrative costs.
