Sponsored by the CASH Music Fund, the ‘CASH Music Scholarship for Overseas Studies 2025/2026’ has been awarded to Man Hok Yee. He will pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Music Technology at the California Institute of the Arts.

Man Hok Yee graduated with a degree in Composition and Electronic Music from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. During his studies, he is enthusiastic about participating in interdisciplinary music creation.

Besides his academic studies, he has also been involved in the creation of numerous theatre productions. His recent musical works include the dance performance The Ant Vamilley, and Animal Gacha, produced by the Rice Journey Production, and the Hong Kong New Vision Arts Festival 2023’s The Old Man and His Sea (music mixing and assistant composer). Projects where he served as assistant composer include Tang Shu-wing Theatre Studio’s Bhagavad Gita (2025) and the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre’s The Story of K City to be premiered in Hong Kong in July.
