The All-time Lyricist

Mr. Chen Die Yi is the recipient of the first ever “CASH Hall of Fame Award”. His name is virtually synonymous with ‘Mandarin lyrics’. He has written over three thousands odes over a period of four decades, beginning in wartime Shanghai and coming to full fruition in Hong Kong. Besides, he has penned over 50 screenplays and written more than 40 collections of poems, some of which have been published in 1999 under the support of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.
