Law Ka Ying is a famous Cantonese opera actor, a member of the 38th Council and the Artistic Director of the ‘Cantonese Opera Young Talent Showcase’ of The Chinese Artists Association of Hong Kong. He was awarded Medal of Honour by the HKSAR Government in 2012. Besides being an actor, Law is also a playwright. In the interview, he shared with us his writing journey during his years in the Cantonese opera scene.
